Type 3 - Name with Salutation
- MADE/Made
- Printed
- 3-P-M (Printed appears in Mixed case)
- No MADE/Made or PRINTED/Printed
- 3-O (NO 'Made' or 'Printed' - name and salutation only)
As with the Type 2 cards, Type 3 Actor and Actress cards that contain Salutations seemed to have started in the 1920s or early 1930s and ran to the end of the Exhibits, and again not continuously. While the Type 3 cards also span a long period, these seem to intermingle with the Type 2 cards throughout the entire time Exhibits were being published. Similar to the Type 2, we'll break the Type 3 into various sub-types as well.
I decided to differentiate between the types where MADE was in the lower left or lower right because I already had quite a few examples of both, and in a few cases an example of the same card with both versions. Similarly with the mixed case Made, which had 2 styles of type (slanted M and vertical M sides).
There are those marked with Printed in case, but to date I have not found any Salutation Exhibits that have PRINTED in upper case. If I do, I will add that section here.
